The BennettBuilt Performance aluminum step cover replaces the OEM plastic step cover that is known to fail due to a poor design utilizing plastic clips on a high traffic part. Not smart.
Our design is smart. Featuring a solid aluminum replacement cover with a CNC machined logo. Powder coated texture black that matches the look of the truck's other OEM plastic components. We opted to use 10 Marine grade Stainless Steel bolts to securely attach the part to the truck. No plastic snap on clips here!
The OEM plastic push button was designed for mass production and not quality. To fix that we incorporated a CNC machined billet aluminum push button with Marine grade stainless steel mounts and springs.
This part will fit all 2015-2020 Ford F-150 trucks fitted with the OEM pull out tail gate step.
